High Severity Incidents

High Severity Incidents

High Severity is a feature that should be used for incidents that require immediate attention.

How to Label an Incident as High Severity

  1. Manually
A user with permission can select the checkbox “Mark this incident as high severity” located in the general section of the incident.
Not all organizations have this manual checkbox feature.

  2. Automatically
An incident can automatically be identified as High Severity when it hits a specified threshold. The high severity threshold is met by the apps built-in point system, which calculates the information that was entered into the incident. If your organization would like changes to the points or the threshold, please contact help@snfmetrics.com.

High Severity Notification

An incident flagged as high severity sends a notification to users that are assigned to receive them. Assign this permission under Settings>Users>Apps>Risk Reporter.
