Risk Reporter Statuses

There is a status on each incident to show where the incident is holding in the Risk Reporter process.

Open

Once an incident is created it automatically gets the Open status. Most users can only edit when in Open status. 

 

Submitted

Submitted status indicates that the incident is finished being filled out. To put the incident into this status, click the submit button at the top of the incident.

A Risk Reporter incident can only be submitted once all the required fields are filled out. (Required fields are indicated with an asterisk *.)

 

 

What happens when the incident gets submitted?

  1. An email alert will get sent to any user that has the permission “Receive alert when report submitted”. Click here if you are not receiving alerts.
  2. When an incident is labeled “High severity”, an email alert will get sent to any a user that has the permission “Receive severity alerts”. Click here if you are not receiving alerts.
  3. Once the incident was submitted, only users that have the permission “Edit submitted incident report” can edit.

 

 

How to undo a "Submit"?

Users with permission can undo Submit by clicking the “Reopen” button  on the incident. 

 

Closed

The Closed status states that the incident has been signed off by one of the required users.

  • The Sign off Section will only appear once the incident was submitted.
  • This status appears when the first person to sign off selects the “sign and close” button. 
  • Sign off can only done once the incident was submitted and all required fields were filled out.
  • Once the incident is Closed, it can not be edited.
    Users with the permission “Unlock Closed Report”, can undo Closed by clicking the “unlock” button on the incident.
